The cutaneous injection of different types of substances-medications is known under the term of mesotherapy or mesoplasty.
Mesotherapy techniques increase facial skin elasticity, reduce facial erythema, fine wrinkles and changes in pigmentation.
There is a wide range of medications and other ingredients (herbs, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, chemical derivatives…) available for their use in mesotherapy. However, only a very limited number of these compounds are approved by the FDA (United States Food and Drug Administration) and other international agencies for their intradermal use. Therefore, we must be very cautious and aware of what is injected into our skin in order to avoid a large number of complications.
The dermal injection that consists mainly of vitamins and hyaluronic acid has the potential to improve the appearance of your face and increase the elasticity of your skin.
The facial surface is treated by superficial injections of a multivitamin solution mixed with unconjugated hyaluronic acid. Approximately 0.01 ml of the solution is injected using a 1.15 mm needle at intervals of 1 cm throughout the entire face, resulting in about 100 punctures per session.
The superficial mechanical damage resulting from numerous micropunctures, along with the infiltrated ingredients, create a repaired area of new collagen (neocollagenesis) on your skin. It is indicated on face, neck, chest and hands.
