This method involves the implantation of polypropylene or polydioxanone threads and a polylactic polymer (surgical suture materials widely used subcutaneously in the healthcare environment) in areas affected by the patients’ own sagging, over time.
These threads are inserted subcutaneously through cannulas in areas where skin remodeling is necessary. After being placed in the previously marked areas, they will be cut and clenched in the proper position for the desired lifting effect. The ends of the threads will be introduced under the skin without leaving any scars.
This method is indicated for the retightening and reshaping of the facial areas affected by sagging associated with aging. By using this treatment, we will be able to define and lift face and neck sagging skin.
